Travelers who wish to engage in mountain gorilla trekking in either Bwindi Forest or Mgahinga Forest National Park are provided with a gorilla trekking permit. The finest place to undertake gorilla trekking is in Bwindi Forest National Park, which includes four sectors that are home to the park’s 17 gorilla families. The Uganda Wildlife Authority issues licenses for all of these areas and a gorilla family may only be seen by a maximum of 8 persons per day with a single permit.
