Elephant Orphanage

Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center

In order to get you to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Nursery at Nairobi National Park in time for their opening at 11 am, our Driver-Guide will pick you up from your hotel at 9:00 am. Spend an hour in the nursery watching the young elephants being fed and playing with one another in a public exhibition area where guests are welcome to observe closely and take pictures.

Giraffe Centre

Giraffe Center: We will transport you there at 12p.m. Spend a little over an hour here observing and interacting with the giraffe. You are welcome to pet, feed, and even kiss these sweet creatures. Visitors are welcome to observe carefully and take pictures. At 1:30 pm, we’ll transfer you to your choice local restaurant for lunch (at your expense) at the Nairobi Carnivore Restaurant or another location. After lunch, continue your sightseeing or finish off any last-minute buying at the downtown Nairobi traditional African art and craft market. Drop off back at your hotel by 4:30 p.m. or continue to the place you like.
