Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (D)

Day 2 – Golfing at Windsor

After a morning round of golf at one of the world’s “Great Golf Resorts,” you’ll have the afternoon to relax and enjoy the club’s various facilities or play another round of golf if you choose.

After a hearty breakfast, tee off at the Windsor Golf & Country Club for your first round of golf on this par 72, 18-hole course that measures 6751 yards. There is just one golf resort in Africa that can be called a “Great Golf Resorts of the World” member, and that is Windsor Golf & Country Club. The 18-hole championship course winds its way through native forests and coffee plantations, with quick greens, verdant fairways, and several water hazards that players must overcome. One of the world’s longest par fives is the sixth, which plays to 640 yards from the back tees. In addition to presenting golfers with formidable and distinctive difficulties, this course also transports them to a breathtaking natural setting. After enjoying lunch at the club, you’ll have the remainder of the afternoon to relax and play another round of golf or take advantage of the club’s other facilities. Day 3: Golfing at Karen Golf & Country Club

Even if you don’t play golf, you can still enjoy a tour of some of Nairobi’s top attractions, like the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.

The Kenya Open was held in 2004 and 2005 at Karen Golf Country Club, an 18-hole course with a length of 6953 yards and a par of 71. Some people think it’s the most beautiful course in Kenya. An absolute must-play is Karen Country Club. Without a doubt, it ranks among the nation’s best 18-hole championship courses. The home of “Out of Africa” author Karen Blixen is right next to the course. Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens will be the site of our lunch. The non-golfers can take a tour of some of Nairobi’s most well-known attractions. To begin, there is the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, a place where orphaned elephants can find a safe haven and rehabilitation services. The African Fund for Endangered Wildlife runs a nature center that you should visit later. The 18-foot-tall Rothschild’s giraffes can be approached up close and personal via an elevated viewing walkway. After establishing the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW) in 1974, the grandson of a Scottish earl and his wife Betty took five fetuses of the critically endangered Rothschild giraffe to their estate, where they were nurtured and eventually had their own babies. Day 4 – Nairobi / Lake Naivasha

As a massive geological fault line that extends roughly one-sixth of the Earth’s circumference and can be seen from space, we will be exploring the Great Rift Valley today. Lunch will be served at the lodge in Great Rift Valley, and then you can play golf. The course was deemed the finest young course that Irish professional David Jones had ever played on when he became the first to break par here.

The Great Rift Valley is a massive geological fault line that encircles one-sixth of the Earth. It can be seen from space and is home to the Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site. The length of the valley is dotted with several volcanoes, the majority of which are inactive. The lodge in Great Rift Valley will serve as our lunch venue. Located atop the Eburru, the Massai call it “Ol Donyo Opurru” (the “mountain of smoke”). A round of golf is scheduled for you in the afternoon. A difficult 18-hole course in a breathtaking location, Rift Valley Golf Club has a yardage of 5940 and a par of 72. Irish professional David Jones, who broke par for the first time here, said that this was the finest young course he had ever played on. Enjoy supper at your posh lodge.

Day 5 – Naivasha / Lake Nakuru / Maasai Mara

Set out for Lake Nakuru National Park, a world-famous destination known for its enormous pink flamingo populations, for a wildlife viewing drive. Sarova Lion Hill Lodge is where you’ll have lunch. We will next take a plane to the world-renowned Maasai Mara Wildlife Reserve in Kenya, which served as the backdrop for the majority of the film Out of Africa.

After a picnic at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, set off on a wildlife viewing drive around Lake Nakuru National Park. Hundreds of thousands of flamingos can be seen at times, casting a pink sheen across the shallow alkaline lake that is Lake Nakuru National Park, making it famous around the world. Among the many species found in the area is the leopard, which is known to nap among the majestic yellow-barked acacias. Only in this Kenyan park can you see the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe; the park also protects the white rhino and the uncommon black rhino. As far as birdwatchers are concerned, the park is home to 450 different species, with a plethora of aquatic birds such as pelicans, flamingos, and marabou storks. The Loldia airstrip will be your destination later on. The most well-known wildlife reserve in Kenya, Maasai Mara, was the backdrop for a significant portion of the film Out of Africa. Safari Link has a flight scheduled to depart at 3:30 pm. Upon your arrival, your knowledgeable driver guides will be waiting to greet you. You will be driven to Mara Intrepids Camp while stopping to see wildlife along the way. Make it through dinner and the night.

Day 6 – Safari in Maasai Mara

In the Maasai Mara Reserve, sometimes called the “Jewel of Africa,” you can spend a whole day seeing wildlife. This reserve is home to one of the world’s greatest and most stunning animal migrations. An optional balloon ride safari is a great opportunity to watch the migration, and you may include it in your itinerary if you choose. Cultural tours of nearby Maasai villages are another available option.

The Maasai Mara Reserve, sometimes called the “Jewel of Africa,” is home to one of the world’s greatest and most breathtaking animal migrations, and visitors can spend the entire day there seeing wildlife. Day 7 – Safari in Maasai Mara

During today’s game drives, we will visit a different area of the reserve, which is 700 square miles in size and is a part of the Serengeti ecosystem. The Serengeti plains are home to a yearly migration of up to two million wildebeest, thousands of zebra, and an entourage of carnivores, and this migration is a world-famous spectacle. This is going to be an expensive journey since a lot of the weak, sick, and crippled people will get eaten by the hungry lions and a lot more will drown in the raging floods of the Mara River. The Mara is home to numerous majestic black-maned lions and one of the continent’s greatest concentrations of cheetahs. Camps at Mara Intrepids for the night.

Day 8 – Maasai Mara / Nairobi / Depart Kenya

Following your morning game watching drive, you will be returned to the airstrip in preparation for your flight back to Nairobi. The JKIA airport will be your transfer point upon arrival, so you may catch a flight home.

Early morning drive to watch the game. Once your African adventure comes to an end, you’ll be taken to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi. After you are greeted at Wilson Airport, you will be taken to JKIA to catch your aircraft back home.
