Kibira National Park Facts, Activities, Tours, Wildlife & Photos

Kibira National Park Facts, Activities, Tours, Wildlife & Photos – Kibira National Park may be found in northwest Burundi, near the base of the Rwandan mountains. It was right on the edge of Rwanda’s Nyungwe Forest National Park, which is where I discovered it. The settlement of Muramvya is threatened by this forest’s advance.

Green undergrowth and thick forest forests make up 18% of the forest, and this is especially true in the western part of the forest. Symphonia globulifera, Newtonia buchananii, Albizia gummifera, and Entandrophragma excelsum are just a few of the species that call this montane forest home. There are a total of 400 km2 of park land. There are Teza and Rwegura tea plantations close to the park.
