Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to Aberdare

When you arrive at JKIA, your driver/guide will meet you and take you to the lush foothills of the Aberdares ranges. Arrive at the Aberdares Country Club for lunch, an elegant baronial-style country home set in sprawling superbly landscaped gardens. Later, transfer to Aberdares National Park via the Ark gate. The Ark provides the first opportunity for wildlife viewing in a truly unique setting. The Ark was built to resemble the biblical Ark, and you will be able to see animals as they come to drink along a natural waterhole while staying overnight. Elephants, rhinos, bongos (rare nocturnal antelopes with black on tan stripes), and other species may be seen here.

Day 2: Aberdares – Samburu National Reserve

Drive further north of Kenya this morning to Samburu Game Reserve, which is home to the colorful Samburu people, close relatives of the Maasai, and is home to a number of wildlife species found only north of the equator. It has spectacular views of rounded and rugged hills and undulating plains. A diverse range of animal and birdlife can be found in the mix of wood and grassland with riverine forest and swamp. Lunch is served at the Lodge before departing on a game viewing drive until sunset.

Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru

Kenya Safari VLOG – First time in Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast and check-out, drive down to Lake Nakuru, a protected game sanctuary for endangered species of black and white rhinos, as well as leopards and lions. After a late lunch at the camp, go on an afternoon game drive until sunset.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast and departure to Masai Mara Game Reserve, which translates to “spotted plains” in Maa. This has the highest density of large mammals and is widely regarded as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is well-known for its annual wildebeest migration. Transfer to the lodge, stop for a game drive en-route, and enjoy a hot lunch after checking in. Later in the evening, take a game viewing drive in this breathtaking location with breathtaking scenery, never-ending plains, and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape consists of rolling savannahs interspersed with patchy shrubs and bush thickets.

Dy 5: Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara | The Safari of a LIFETIME!

During your stay, you will have the opportunity to thoroughly explore this vast reserve. Elephant, giraffe, lion prides, and thousands of impala, topi, grants, and Thomson’s gazelle may be seen. Birds, including immigrants, are prolific; 450 bird species have been recorded, including 57 birds of prey. The annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses takes place in the Mara. You will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai tribal village and be entertained by Maasai dancers. You will have the option to float above the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem in a hot air balloon while in Mara, followed by a gourmet champagne breakfast (Options at an extra cost).

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, stopping for a game drive along the way. Check into your hotel upon arrival and unwind.
