Day 1 – 4: Samburu sojourn | 3 Nights

A Saruni van will transport you to Wilson Airport in Nairobi for your short-haul trip to Samburu once you land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. You will spend the following three nights in one of the magnificent, eco-chic villas at Saruni Samburu. They are open and large, with breathtaking views of the distant Mount Kenya and the Kalama Community Wildlife Conservancy. More than 800 square kilometers (497 square miles) of pristine wilderness are home to an abundance of wildlife, including the amazing long-necked gerenuk, which can go for days without water and stand on its hind legs for minutes at a time while nibbling on new leaves. Saruni Samburu is the only lodge in this area. It is only yours to explore, with the assistance of Samburu warriors who are enthusiastic about their homeland and culture. Large elephant herds must go through Kalama on their way between the northern and southern conservation areas.

Kenya Family Safari.

There are six family villas overall in the little camp; you stay in one of them. Day 4 – 7: Migrate to the Mara | 3 Nights

Take off for the Masai Mara on another brief flight from Samburu. The only boutique resort in the Masai Mara is Saruni Mara, where you’ll end your journey. The resort is located in the Mara North Conservancy, an exclusive, private wildlife concession abutting the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, in a quiet valley in the center of the conservancy.
