6 Days Tanzania Lodge Safari: A Luxury Camping Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

On the 1^st day of 6 Days Tanzania Lodge Safari you will be picked from your hotel by your safari driver-guide, after him offers a short safari briefing about today’s activities you will drive from Arusha heading to Lake Manyara national park a famous destination for tree-climbing lions and for being one of the habitats for one of Tanzania’s biggest elephant population. You are to arrive in the park in time for lunch which you will have at your tented camp after checking in, then go for an afternoon game drive of 3-4 hours on which you will enjoy watching many animals such as tree-climbing lions, elephants, zebras, impalas, dik-dik, klipspringer, warthogs, waterbucks, elephants, giraffes and many more.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise

On the 2^nd day of 6 Days Luxury Tanzania Safari you will head to the park for an early morning game drive before sunrise, on the game drive you will enjoy watching many predators such as tree climbing lions, leopards, African dogs, early risers and the beautiful sunrise. Then return to the lodge for late breakfast then lounge around the lodge with an option of taking a swim, in the afternoon you will return to the park for a boat cruise on Lake Manyara watching a number of wildlife such as hippos and a large number of pink flamingoes while cruising on the waters of the lake. After the experience you will head back to your tented camp, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day #3: Morning Game drive and transfer to Serengeti National Park

On the 3^rd day of 6 days Tanzania Luxury Camping Safari you will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast then checkout and go for an en-route game drive as you exit the park heading to Serengeti national park the arena of wildlife in Tanzania and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You are to arrive in Serengeti national park in time for lunch which you will have after checking into your tented camp as rest for a while, in the afternoon you will go for you will go for an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of Serengeti. On this game drive expect to see a number of animals such as wildebeests, elands, zebras, spotted hyenas, jackals, lions, leopards, buffaloes, bat eared foxes, cheetahs, hartebeests, warthogs and many more. After the experience you will head back to your tented camp, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day #4: Full day in Serengeti National Park

On the 4^th day of 6 days Luxury Tanzania Tented Camp Safari you will have breakfast then head to the plains of Serengeti for a full day game drive participating in both morning and afternoon game drive with picnic lunch. On this full day game drive you will have an opportunity to explore most of the regions of the park such as Seronera, Grumenti and many more in a 4X4 wheel vehicle while watching a variety of animals living in the park such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeests, hartebeests, grant’s gazelles, African wild dogs, warthogs, zebras, giraffes, leopards and many more. Picnic lunch will be set along the banks of Seronera River where you will enjoy both your meals and animals as they come to the river to drink water then go for another game drive. After the experience you will return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

On the 5^th day of 6 Days Safari Tanzania | 6 Day Tanzania Camping Safari you will have morning breakfast, you will checkout and set off on a drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area a true wonderland of Africa and UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the Ngorongoro crater and the abundance of wildlife. Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, the crater floor hosts abundance of wildlife including giraffes, impalas, topis, rhinos, buffaloes, serval cats, lions, hyenas, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, bohor reedbucks and many more. You are to arrive in the park in perfect time for lunch after checking into your tented camp, then go for a game drive on which you will enjoy a number of animals and the beauty of the crater.  After the experience you will return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: Morning Game drive and transfer back to Arusha

On the 6^th and the last day of 6 days Luxury Tanzania Tented Camp Safari, you will leave your lodge and descend to the crater floor for the last game drive of your safari on which you will enjoy sights of many animals such as warthogs, elephants, elands, lions, hyenas, hartebeests, rhinos and many more. After the experience, you will return to your tented camp for lunch then check out and set off on a drive back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport for departure flight back home.
