Remarkable Uganda And Rwanda Tours Must-have
The Remarkable Uganda And Rwanda Tours, A 5 Days Itinerary Guide offer Wildlife, Chimps & Gorillas. This Combined Uganda And Rwanda Tours are designed for travelers who want to visit Uganda and Rwanda. Because the primates prefer to wander deep into the forest during particular months of the year, the Nyungwe forest in Rwanda is not very trustworthy for Chimpanzee Trekking. Trackers may have to spend the entire day looking for chimpanzees and there’s also a chance you won’t see them at all.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park, and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Chimp Tracking in the Kibale National Park – Uganda
After breakfast, you will proceed to the Kibale National Park offices for a briefing on chimp trekking. The Rangers will provide you with information about the park, its inhabitants, the chimp clans, what to pack, how to behave around chimps, and what to expect. Tracking chimps in Kibale National Park usually takes 3 to 5 hours. Because of their vocal nature, they are easy to spot. Their social groups are also more dramatic than those of gorillas. Expect an action-packed one-hour with them. Take as many pictures as you want, then return to the lodge for lunch. The driver will begin the 2-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park later in the afternoon.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at the Kazinga Channel
You will have to get up very early to eat breakfast. Alternatively, bring coffee with you on your early morning game drive. The early morning game drive is designed to allow visitors to see nocturnal animals returning to their dens after hunting during the night. It’s also intended to catch early risers before they go hunting. Keep an eye out for leopards and hippos that have returned from grazing outside the water during the night. The morning is also the best time to see birds and herbivores returning to graze after defending themselves from predators. The game drive will also allow you to see buffaloes, lions, hartebeests, and other antelopes. After that, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and rest.
At 2 p.m., you will be transferred to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. One of the most popular activities in Queen Elizabeth National Park is a boat cruise. The Kazinga Channel is where the majority of the animals and birds congregate for a bath or a drink. The Kazinga channel connects Lake Edward to Lake Gorge and is regarded as one of Africa’s best birding locations. It is also one of the best places in Africa to spot wildlife due to the sheer number of primates and other animals found along the channel. You can expect to see elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, hippos, antelopes, and some predators.

After the exciting activities of day 4, you should cap it all off by visiting the famous tree-climbing lions at Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Ishasa sector. Tree climbing lions can only be found in Ishasha, South Africa’s Kruger National Park, and Tanzania’s Lake Manyara. After seeing the Ugandan tree-climbing lions, you will return to Rwanda and cross to the Volcanoes National Park the next day for gorilla trekking. Lunch will be purchased at a suitable restaurant along the way to Rwanda. When you arrive at the lodge, make sure to get some rest so you’re ready to go gorilla trekking the next day.

Day 5: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes, Rwanda – Departure
You’ll get up early to eat breakfast before heading to the park offices for a gorilla trekking briefing. The briefing covers a variety of topics, including what to expect, how to behave while with the gorillas, the gorilla groups, and the park’s history. In Rwanda, Gorilla Trekking entails being assigned one of ten habituated gorilla families. The park officials will choose one for you based on your preferences, age, and overall fitness. Some gorilla families in Rwanda live and move deep in the forest, necessitating longer search times. Before venturing into the forest, hire a porter if you have extra luggage and equipment.
You will be with the primates for one hour. Take your time observing and photographing. Follow the Rangers’ instructions and remain calm even if a gorilla approaches you. Keep in mind the gorilla trekking guidelines. After your one-hour encounter with the gorilla family, return to the starting point, where you will meet our office Guide, who will drive you back to the lodge for lunch. Later that afternoon, you will begin your journey back to Kigali. If you are still in Kigali, the driver will take you to the airport or to your hotel.
