2025 Spectacular 3 Days Nyerere Flying Safari

For those planning to visit Nyerere National Park but wishing to bypass the 5 to 6 hour drive from Dar es Salaam, This 3 Day Nyerere Flying Safari is excellent. Instead, we may provide you with a flight package called Safari that includes a one-hour trip from Dar es Salaam’s Julius Nyerere International Airport to Nyerere. Depending on the airline that was booked and the number of passengers, the flight will be on a light aircraft with seats for 15 to 40 people. A driver-guide and vehicle are waiting to pick you up for the start of your safari when you arrive in Nyerere National Park. Each traveler is only allowed to check 15 kilos worth of luggage. These fly-in safaris in Tanzania are typically organized as group tours, therefore unless we specifically request an exclusive vehicle at an additional expense, your safari vehicle won’t be on a private basis. After two nights and three days in Nyerere, take a flight back to Dar es Salaam.

Detailed Itinerary: 3 Days Nyerere Flying Safari

Day 1: Start of your Safari from Dar es Salaam

In order to get you to Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR), we will pick you up from your accommodation. A one-hour reporting period is required. Your checked baggage is only allowed to weigh 15 pounds. Take off for your flight to Nyerere National Park; the flight will take around an hour: The camp’s driver guide will meet you at the airport and drive you in a 4×4 safari vehicle to your overnight camp. Your Camp is a well-known, opulent building with magnificent park views. In the event that a morning flight arrives, proceed to lunch and spend some time relaxing at the camp. Go for a safari game drive in the late afternoon [usually around 3.30pm] to explore the park’s surroundings and view its incredible animals. Other camp visitors might also be transported in the safari vehicle. Arrive back at the camp by evening, usually between 6 and 6.30 p.m., in time for dinner.

Day 2: Enjoy Full day in Nyerere National Park

Game drive through Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere), Tanzania

Your expected 6.15 a.m. safari game drive today will allow you to witness more of the amazing animals found in the Nyerere National Park. It is thought that the optimum times to see animals at their most active are in the early morning and late afternoon. Breakfast at leisure at the Camp before spending the remainder of the morning at your leisure. The camp features a pool, but it also provides a range of optional activities, such as boat safaris and nature excursions. Take a mid-afternoon safari game drive to further explore the park after the delicious meal, or choose the romantic and adventurous sunset boat safari along the vast Rufiji River to see hippos, crocodiles, and birds while taking in the breathtaking sundowner. Return to the camp by evening [usually 6pm] in time for dinner and a laid-back evening that may be livened up by camp entertainment.

Day 3: Return to Dar es Salaam

Before breakfast, take a game drive in the early morning. We may also arrange a morning walking safari, which will last for around 2-3 hours and often begins at 6:30 AM after first-morning tea or coffee. A armed ranger will accompany you on this safari. A walking safari is an excellent way to explore the Nyerere bushes in further detail.
