3 Days Uganda Fly-In Gorilla Trek: A Luxury Itinerary Guide
3 Days Uganda Fly-In Gorilla Trek – Overview
The Adventurer 3 Days Uganda’s Fly-In Gorilla Trek. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity puts you in the company of endangered mountain gorillas in the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Your flight will depart from Entebbe International Airport and arrive at the Kihihi airstrip just outside Bwindi National Park. About 340 mountain gorillas call this park home; it is one of just two reserves in the world where you may see this great ape subspecies in its natural habitat. While some families have become used to seeing humans, others will gladly let trekkers follow them while they go about their day. As you return to the peaceful Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp, be on the lookout for the gorillas that make their home there.
Indulge in five days of jungle bliss with stays in traditional tented accommodations and a chance to meet the native Batwa people. Combining this fly-in gorilla safari with a visit to the Masai Mara or the Serengeti to witness the Big Five or the Wildebeest Migration is an ideal way to lengthen your East African adventure.
This 3 Days Luxury Gorilla trekking Safari in Uganda most probably starts and ends in Entebbe International Airport using a local chartered flight to one of the airfields in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The landing airport depends on the purchased gorilla trekking permit which determines which side or trailhead of the park one is going to trek gorillas from.
Bwindi Forest is host to almost half of the remaining Mountain Gorillas in the world with more than 400 living in the park. 19 Gorilla families have been habituated and can be tracked during a Gorilla trekking safari in Uganda at 600 USD per person per trek (valid till July 2020) and $700 from then onwards. 3 Days Gorilla Flying Safari to Bwindi National Park in Uganda is private and available all year round.
