Detailed itinerary of the 14 Days Uganda Safaris Tour
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to hotel
On the first day of this 14 Days Uganda Safaris Tour is reserved for arrival from your country of origin to Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport. On arrival at Airport, your driver-guide will be there to pick you up for a transfer drive to a booked hotel where you relax from jet lag. Have dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Wake up early in order to start your long drive northwards to Kidepo Valley National Park. The drive takes you past several towns and you have a glimpse of the local livelihood in Uganda as you see natives go around with their daily work. Your 14 day Uganda wildlife safari guide will ensure to offer an explanation to any of your questions depending on anything you may get curious about during the drive.
Gulu town is where you will make your lunch stop for a maximum of about 1 hour. After lunch and a little relaxation, you get back in your safari vehicle for a drive towards the north on a good tarmac road to Kitgum town. 154km from Kitgum to Kidepo Valley National Park on a rough road and could be really dusty during the dry season. Arrive at the park and check-in at the hotel for dinner and spend the night

Day 3: Morning Game drive and evening nature walk in Kidepo Valley National Park
Safari in Uganda – Kidepo Valley National Park – Karamoja Region
After a night in Kidepo, you wake up for breakfast then embark on a morning game drive in the plains of Kidepo. The game drive takes the Kakine circuit just close to Apoka, the trail may offer you a chance to see wildlife species including Buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests, Rock hyrax, Elands, Giraffes, Zebras, side-striped jackal, and many more.
Alongside wildlife, you may also see several bird species. After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you take a nature walk through the park. Along with a ranger guide, you walk within nature for about 2 hours. Return to your lodge for dinner and a night’s stay.

Day 4: Full day in Kidepo National Park for wildlife game drives
On your second morning of 14 Days Uganda Safaris Tour at Kidepo Valley National Park, you’ll have breakfast then get back to the park for another morning game drive. This morning you take the circuit to the “hot springs” at the furthest point of the park.
For this drive, ensure to carry insect repellent since there are tsetse flies in some parts of this section. Many park endemics survive on this side of the park and you may sight the dik-dik (smallest antelope), cheetah, and birds like Ostriches.
Going past the Kidepo River, you have an amazing view of the scenic mountains around the park. After this morning game drive, you return to the lodge for lunch and then relaxation. In the evening you go for your last game drive. Taking a different circuit still, expect to see more wildlife species.

Day 5: Transfer from Kidepo to Murchison Falls National Park
At the hotel, have an early morning game drive and then transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. Have lunch en route as you embark on the drive to Murchison Falls Park. Arrive in the evening for an en-route game drive to the hotel, check-in, rest, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park
Amazing Wildlife Safari in Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda
In the morning after breakfast, your guide will be ready to take you to the jungle in search of wildlife and bird species. The game drive exposes you to sightings of wildlife species like Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Buffaloes, baboons, and many more.
After the game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, you then return to your lodge for lunch and refresh. Transfer for the boat cruise/launch trip to the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls with spectacular views and a view of several aquatic species on the river banks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park. At your choice of accommodation in Murchison Falls National Park, you have breakfast then embark on the drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The drive takes more than 346 km taking about 6-7 hours along Kyenjojo-Hoima road.
Reaching in the evening your Uganda safaris tour guide ensures, check in to a prior booked accommodation facility. You refresh and have dinner then rest through the night at your hotel or lodge.

Day 8: Chimpanzee trekking and visit the Bigodi wetland for a nature walk
Chimpanzees of Kibale and Budongo Forest and Birding in Bigodi Wetlands, Uganda
After breakfast at your lodge get ready for a chimpanzee trekking experience. Carry along with your backpack with some drinking water and head out to the park for chimp tracking. The trek starts with a briefing on the trekking etiquette then heads out to the jungle.
Just like gorilla tracking, a maximum of 1 hour is spent in the presence of chimpanzees as you watch them playfully interact in the forest. After the trek, you return to your lodge for lunch then transfer to Bigodi wetland for a nature walk.
Bigodi wetland is just 5 minutes drive from Kibale Forest and host to an array of biodiversity including primates and bird species. Some of the bird species include the Great Blue Turaco, White-collared Olive back, Papyrus Gonolek, Yellow-spotted Barbet, Superb Sunbird, and many more.
After the nature walk at Bigodi, you then return to your lodging facility where you relax, refresh and have dinner.

Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with an evening game drive
From your hotel or lodge in Kibale National Park, you have a relaxed breakfast then embark on the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive last 3- 4 hours driving past several plantations and scenic crater lakes.
On arrival at the park, you have lunch and then go out for an evening game drive. The game drive offers the chance to see several mammal species including Elephants, Kobs, Buffaloes, and several bird species including Kingfishers. In the evening you return to your hotel/lodge for dinner and spend the night.

Day 10: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
Have morning breakfast then proceed for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. Here you explore an array of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, Topi, warthogs, Hyenas, lions, and several bird species. The game drive lasts about 4 hours and remembers to carry some drinking water binoculars and a camera.
After the game drive, you return to the lodge for lunch and refreshments. In the afternoon, you head for the Kazinga channel boat cruise. This is a great chance of seeing several aquatic species like crocodiles and hippopotami alongside other wildlife and bird species on the river banks.

Day 11: Morning game drive in the Ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi
On this day of your trip, you have breakfast then head out to the Ishasha sector in the southern part of the park. You spend about 4 hours on the drive in search of tree-climbing lions and any other mammals. After the game drive, you have lunch in the Ishasha sector.
After lunch, you embark on the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arriving in the evening hours, you check-in, refresh, have dinner, and spend the night at a prior booked choice of accommodation in Bwindi.

Day 12: Mountain Gorilla Trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Gorilla trekking ( Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – Uganda)
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the rules and regulations for Uganda gorilla trekking safaris. During the briefing, a total of 8 tourists are allocated a single gorilla family depending on their hiking ability.
The trek starts with each group being accompanied by a park ranger talking about 2-6 hours depending on where the gorillas spent their previous night. Upon seeing the gorillas a maximum of 1 hour is allocated in the presence of these gentle giants for photography and amazing moments.
After the trek, you return to the park headquarters where you receive a gorilla trekking certificate. Your driver-guide then ensures a safe transfer to your Lake Bunyonyi for refreshment and relaxation at a hotel on the lake.

Day 13: Spend the day relaxing at Lake Bunyonyi

Day 14: Transfer back to Entebbe International Airport
You will leave Lake Bunyonyi very early in the morning for a drive back to Entebbe International Airport for a departure flight. Depending on your departure flight time, you may have a brief stop at the equator line to shop for souvenirs and crafts that you may carry home to remember the beautiful Pearl of Africa. Drop off at the Airport marks the end of the trip.
